How'd that cat get in with the snowmen???
OK Mom….when you were decorating the house for Christmas, how come these guys all wound up on this shelf in the powder room together? AND – more importantly – why is my favorite kitty ornament (because it looks like ME of course!) with a bunch of snowmen? Shouldn’t it be on the tree and not in the bathroom for Pete’s sake?
Look at all those carrot nosed snowmen and one lonely little ginger striped kitty with a hat and scarf on. Seems like everyone who visits us is going to wonder why the cat’s there. Then again, it would be just like my Mom to do something like that on purpose – just so people NOTICE it! She’s like that – – – puts stuff in unlikely places or does something different then waits for people to notice.
I notice stuff but my Dad sure doesn’t. One time Mom made her hair blonde instead of brown AND got it cut way short and it took Dad a whole week to notice!
Me? I notice stuff right away. For instance, this morning I noticed that there are a WHOLE LOT more presents under our tree than there were a week ago. Yup. Some of them have “TO SAMMY” tags on ’em too…..See? I notice stuff.
Something else I noticed today was the calendar in the kitchen says it’s only a little over a week before Christmas! I hope you’ve got your shopping done!!!!

Sammy, maybe your Mom thought those snowmen needed a kitty to brighten up their corner…..? I think that little ginger striped kitty in his Christmas stocking hat is the perfect touch.
Hmm. your dad didn’t notice your Mom’s new hair color or cut for a week??? (You should have given him a hint!)
My mommy has wrapped a few presents and put them under the tree, but they don’t have name tags on them; maybe they’re for ME!

Hi Sundae! Yeah, my Dad isn’t very OBSERVANT that’s for sure. Same thing when she wears something new – he doesn’t notice either – what’s with that??!! I’m glad there are some presents under your tree – – – I bet at least ONE of those is for you and have you checked that stocking to see if it’s lumpy yet??????

Oh Uncle Jerry I try to be all grown-up (after all I’m almost twelve!) but I’m just a kid at heart. Indeed I certainly have perked up since a bunch of those presents under my tree have “To Sammy” on them! WOO HOO!!!!

I love the kitty with the snowmen, Sammy! It looks like it could be your alter ego, and there it is playing with the snow men. That is funny about your Daddy not noticing when your Mommy changed her hair color and cut her hair short!! I wonder if your Mommy thought it was funny? Hi Terrell Gang…..Mommy said to say that she learned to be patient very quickly after she married Dad (HAHAHAHAHAHA). Anyway, she thinks it’s funny to do things then wait to see how long it is before he notices them.

Yeah that little orange cat is a little lonely (and cold) sitting next to all those snowmen BUT just like me – he’ll make the best of it!! Presents will be coming our way soon Rumpy – hang in there buddy!

You’re right – Dad would NEVER notice but Mom sure would….so I’ll resist temptation (never easy is it?!) and wait a few more days…..it won’t be long now! Have a nice trip to Arizona………..

One of my presents sounds like it has a bell on it – I only tried shaking that one once because when it made that noise I knew my Mom knew I’d cheated checked it out! The others that I’ve poked in the middle of the night when I know nobody will notice don’t make a sound. My Dad’s presents that don’t make sounds are always clothes. I hope Mom didn’t get me a wacky Christmas tie, or striped socks or something weird in the clothing department.
