Well obviously prepping for camp is TOTALLY on my mind because after all, I’m your Camp Counselor and I want EVERYBODY to have a super fun time.
Today I flew up to the campsites just to make sure everything was in order. Remember I have arranged for tents for everyone who isn’t bringing their own. We have lots of people who are in the “Tent Decorating Contest” and have really put their purrrrrsonality into the decorating so I know it will be tough to pick your favorite when the poll goes up!
Remember there’s plenty of time to sent in an entry for TENT DECORATING, SCARY POEM, and to do the VIRTUAL SCAVENGER HUNT. Right now I think we will post the poll for the tent contest AND post the scary poems on this coming Sunday’s blog. Voting will begin Sunday as soon as the polls are posted and will last all day Monday. On Tuesday morning on my blog you’ll find out who the winners are!! We’ll be enjoying our bonfire and I’ll READ to you the winning scary story and another little short story my Mom and I wrote that starts out scary but has a happy ending! Good way to finish our last night at the camp right? We’ll be having a BIG cookout too around the bonfire.

Now for a few camping updates from our friends…………..
I got this photo from our cutie-pie friend Cupcake – all set to come on the camping trip! She’s packed up, has her special green camping dress on (it will be St. Patrick’s Day on Sunday remember!) and can’t wait to see all of you there………..
Cupcake packed her backpack full of her stuffed animals and has plenty of treats!
Then Mollie has sent us a photo – she’s in her pink convertible, with all her camping gear heading to the campground….ready to pawty and visit everybody in their tents and spread fun like only Mollie can!…………

Our friend Savannah wanted me to see the spot she’s chosen to put her beautiful tent up in the wooded camping area (you’ll see her tent in the contest)…….looks like she picked a nice place don’t you think??………

So, everything is moving along nicely and I want to remind you what to look for when you arrive on Sunday at the campground……..I’ll be under the sign waiting to see you and we’ll have volunteers who will show you to your tent OR camping spot – then LET THE FUN BEGIN!

Oh goodie! There are some incredible tent pix coming in. I’m IMPRESSED. My poor little green tent looks very “St. Patrick’s Day-ish” but it’s not as fancy as SOME tents our friends are bringing!

Misaki, with all that camping gear Mollie stuffed into her pink convertible there probably wasn’t any room for you anyway! Besides – you’re getting lots of exercise and fresh air (and some snow!) on your trek to the campground. Just be careful and we’ll see you SUPER SOON!!!!

Hi Miss Pix!! Doesn’t Cupcake look grand in her green dress? Mollie does look “pretty in pink” doesn’t she! Savannah scoped out the campground early on and picked a swell spot to set up her tent. Wait til you see her tent by the way!

Hi Leo….I got the photo downsized with my camera software….Doggy looks ready to go camping for sure. The contest is tent decorating though – if you wanna enter, I need a TENT for Doggy. I’ll put this photo on Sam’s blog tomorrow though like I’ve been doing with the other “getting ready for camp” pix we’ve had this week! Everbody is glad the Dastardly Doggy is coming on the trip – even if he has threatened to toss Mollie in the bonfire on the last night of the camping trip.

Savannah is a very generous lady – I should think if you stop by her tent (which is quite large as you will see on Sunday on the poll) she’d be HAPPY to have you camp out with her……..OR, as you can see on today’s blog, we have lots of little green tents available for people who aren’t bringing their own!
