Mom says it’s peaceful to watch until I get some hair stuck on my tongue then I gag and cough and make all kindsa noise. Oh well – maintenance is too important to forego just to avoid a little gag now and then!

Hi Miss Pix…….aren’t those pillow way cool? My Auntie Carol is a quilter and she had some leftover fabric and made those pillows for my Mom….pretty neato huh? HAPPY SUNDAY – we’ve got snow!

Hi Sundae……YES it’s snowing! I bet you don’t have any down south though do you! When I’m performing “maintenance” I most generally go all over EVERYTHING, then come back and start all over again just in case I missed anything….I’m VERY fastidious as most of us felines are. HAPPY SUNDAY!

Hi Miss June! I agree about my Auntie Carol – she makes gorgeous quilts (the one in that photo on the back of the couch is one she made for my Mom)….those pillows were made from leftover material when she made tote bags for last year’s Book ‘Em book fair in North Carolina (she went with my Mom and sold her bags while Mom flogged her books). I love them….they usually “live” in the library but Mom had them on the couch in her studio that day…..

Oh Cody I hear ya on the “imagine what if” stuff…..if the Redskins had made it my Mom (not as much my Dad) would be NUTSO all day today. We cats are very agile – it’s why we’re so good at yoga I think!! I had bacon my weekend bacon ration thankfully because Mom made pancakes and bacon for her and Dad. We’re set for the Super Bowl…have snacks at the ready and we’re only rooting for the Baltimore Ravens because we are only a couple of hours away from Baltimore but HOURS AND HOURS AND HOURS away from San Francisco!

I agree Misaki……it’s a matter of pride isn’t it! We’re gorgeous and we want to STAY that way (unless of course we’re having fun playing in the dirt or mud or snow) ! As soon as we can, we clean ourselves right back up so we can be deserving of all those admiring glances we get!!

Hi Mr. Leo….we kitties don’t need extra water (or a crummy old tub or shower) because we just use our SPIT…..sounds disgusting but we like to think of it as a combination body wash/wax shine product and best of all IT WORKS!
