Happy Monday!
What? You say Mondays can’t be happy? Well now it’s all a matter of attitude. MAKE your Monday happy….if you aren’t expecting it to be a good day it probably won’t be……..but if you EXPECT it to be, it probably will be.

Wanna know what I did all day yesterday? NUTHIN. ZIP. I napped, ate some grass in the front yard, napped again and then the highlight of my afternoon – I sat on Mom’s lap and watched football. Rah Rah Rah…….Sis Boom Bah!

I’ve been reading on so many of my blog buddies’ blogs that they have snow………we got a surprise yesterday – it went all the way up to sixty-five degrees…..sunny, breezy, VERY Spring-like. Mom was thrilled – she actually went outside and did some gardening (well, she pulled some sticks out of one of our gardens and cleaned up some mum debris from last Fall – there are little green tops of mums popping up already!). Anyway, the point is, it was a very unusual day in the weather department. I know a lot of my friends out there are very excited about their weather (snow) too……..If you love it – I’m glad you have it!

Tomorrow is Tuesday Teaser………..Mom and I have NO IDEA what photo to surprise you with but we’ll work on it today. I promise. I’m going to try and find one that has NO HINTS in it (like signs you can zero in on and read, etc.!!). So get ready to squint at the screen!

Two years ago I threw away all my alarm clocks and tore up my appointment calendars. I retired. Now, there are no more Mondays or TGIF or praying for good weather on weekends. It’s all good. Hi Mr. Bob! My parents are retired too and while my Dad still is a “time-watcher” my Mom couldn’t care less…..she does what she feels like doing WHEN she feels like doing it. Weekends? What’s that?!! Mondays??? No big deal…..it’s nice to know all that commuter traffic doesn’t contain one of my parents in their cars!

Well Mom and I looked really HARD at the Teaser photo for tomorrow and can’t find a name sign but then again some people have incredible skill at “biggifying” photos and finding details WE can’t see!!

Snow might come here on Friday. As long as it isn’t up to my belly, I’m fine with it. If it gets too high, sore knee or no sore knee, Mom will have to shovel it away so I am not afraid.

Hi Cupcake…..oh absolutely – you can’t have that icky cold snow on your tummy-tum-tum…….I’d be the same way. That’s why when I DO go out in the snow (or I should say IF) I have to hop from one of Mom’s bootprints to the next because other than my feeties I don’t want any other part of me to touch it!

Sounds about the same weather as we had here. Very nice outside, and a little hot to be honest. I’m afraid we won’t be getting any snow this year! Well, I shouldn’t say that yet, the weather in Texas is always weird.

I’ve heard that it’s weird in Texas frequently but know what? It’s like that in Virginia as well….I suppose in a way it makes it more “interesting” to have unpredictable weather but I think my parents would like WINTER to be winter and SPRING to be spring. No fun!

Our Poka kitty isin’t and outside kitty, she’s an inside kitty. I’m glad all kitty’s live in a good environment Sammy. Your house and my house are both cozy, comfy. I think all kitty’s should deserve a good home, from shelter or abandoning. Sorry for saying abandoning. I know it’s kind of a sad word. I’m not rooting for anyone in particular in this upcoming football game. We do like Notre Dame though!

Inside kitties are so much safer than outside kitties. I go outside on a harness and leash only. We have lots of wildlife around here – especially foxes. Since I’ve always only been allowed outside on a leash I don’t mind it one bit. If danger comes I know my Mom or Dad will pick me up and protect me!

Hi Nylablue……oh I will definitely be watching the Super Bowl with my Mom and Dad on Sunday. I love watching those little things scrambling around in the grass tossing that ball around….I sit right in front of the TV and keep my eyes glued on the action (until I get sleepy and take a nap of course).
