Happy Day After Teaser!!
So, seems many and I do mean MANY of you thought the carousel photo was taken by Mom when she and Dad were in France.
The truth of the matter is that they were in Strasbourg, France! It was a stop during a river cruise on the Rhine River – and all of the other passengers got off the ship and boarded buses to head into Strasbourg for the day……….my parents decided to take a taxi on their own instead of going with the group. They wandered the streets on their own and explored on their own……..and this was a pretty little square they found with a really neat old fancy carousel (which wasn’t operating at the time).

Lots of you guessed France and MANY of you guessed Strasbourg so I think I have to say CONGRATULATIONS on super sleuthing to most of you! You totally correct guessers get:

Hi Mollie!! Loved your blog today with the photos of all the available chicks for the Ball. I hope you can help the guinea pig boys from Hutch A Good Life find proper dates……we’ll have to be very careful not to step on them though on the dance floor since they are so little!

Tee Hee!!!! There are so many beautiful carousels in Europe – several my Mom saw in Paris and others in Germany and Italy…..it seems the really MAGICAL carousels are “across the pond” !

The prettiest ones are on YOUR side of the pond – we do have some nice ones (there used to be a beautiful one on the Mall in Washington DC) but the really OLD ones are elsewhere…..

What? Strasbourg? – They have absolutely the same floor tiles as in Paris…hmmm… probably the tiles were a bargain offer or they are required by the french constitution… anyway Thanks for the consolation Hug ;o) btw: the street lights are the same as in Paris too – they had a super sale I guessed it ;o)
