HAPPY CATURDAY!
Yep – it’s one of the first terms I learned when I joined the world of blogging and began reading about “Caturday” vs. what I’d always known as Saturday. Things are always “different” around here on the weekend – even though my parents are retired, the pace DOES still slow down on weekends. So it’s MY day to slow down too………….
I will be doing what I truly DO BEST………..

A guy’s gotta do what a guy’s gotta do!
No matter WHERE I do it, it’s all the same – pure comfort – pure coziness – total abandonment to my kitty cat dreams of chasing bugs, butterflies, other kitties, big bad intruders, my Mom’s ankles, a new toy, my own tail, anything ELSE that moves.
Why mess with perfection?

Happy Caturday to MY favorite ginger kitty! Goodness, what a stormy morning we’re having here in southeast VA! It’s been storming since 4:30! Motor Mommy says if I were like Beezy, her kitty before me, I’d be hiding under the bed. Not me, though. I’m not scared!

Cats are EXCELLENT at snoozing…..any position, any time of day, any weather, we’re READY FOR A NAP. My Mom often will lie down next to me if I’ve chosen her bed for my nap and before you know it – we’re BOTH snoring away!

Oh wow! Sleep with your eyes open huh? I don’t think I’ve ever done that – in fact if it’s too light in a room I put my paw over my eyes, or maybe my whole arm…..if my Mom saw me sleeping with my eyes open I think she’d faint.

Hi Miss June! I heard from my girlfriend Sundae that it was pretty stormy there – she’s braver than I am though because she doesn’t mind all that noisy stuff – you’re right that I’d be in my basement…..It just started to rain here but not really “storm”….maybe it will just be nice and cozy for naps and not noisy. YES I got bacon this morning! YAY!

WOW Easy! I’m impressed – that’s a whole lot of leaves! Pretty soon I might be able to catch that many too but not quite yet – the leaves haven’t begun to fall but I do enjoy playing in leaf piles once my Dad and Mom start the “raking season” !! Happy Saturday dude………and of course happy leaf catching!
